Tata Motors, the Indian automobile manufacturer has made foray into the Myanmar commercial vehicle market with the launch of its first 3-S commercial vehicle dealership in Yangon, the former capital city. The dealership which has been opened in collaboration with its partner, Apex Greatest Industrial Co. Ltd. (AGI), offers sales, service and spare parts facilities at the dealership for its commercial vehicles.
The vehicles launched by Tata Motors for the Myanmar commercial vehicle segment include the Tata Ace, the Tata Magic, the Tata Super Ace as well as its range of Tata trucks and buses.
The inaugural ceremony of the new facility also witnessed attendance by Mr. U Win Myint Hon. Minister of Commerce, Myanmar and various top officials from Tata Motors. Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Mr. R. T. Wasan Head – International Business Commercial Vehicles Business Unit Tata Motors stated that the automaker offers a comprehensive range of commercial vehicles for the Myanmar market and plans to launch 2 more facilities in Yangon and more facilities in other major cities of Myanmar.
