Czech carmaker Skoda Auto is planning to launch three variants of its premium hatchback, the Skoda Fabia, this year. These include a sports model called the Fabia Sportline, the Fabia Combi and the Roomster. The Fabia Sportline will come equipped with alloy wheels and refurbished interiors and will be powered by an 1800 cc engine.
Skoda sold 7,000 units of the Fabia in 2008, the first year of the car’s launch. Also, the Fabia was recently awarded the prestigious ‘Car of the Year’ award at the CNBC TV 18 Overdrive Awards ceremony held in Mumbai.
