Skoda India has launched a new variant of the Skoda Superb named as the Superb Ambition with a price tag of Rs 18,00,000 for the petrol version and Rs 22,50,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel version. The newly launched car has been priced lower than the existing Superb sedan with the aim of making the car more affordable for customers.
The Superb Ambition features the same functionality as the existing Superb sedan powered by a 1.8 TSI engine paired to a six-speed manual gear box in the petrol version and a 2.0 TDI CR with six-speed automatic DSG transmission in the diesel version.
Among other features in the new sedan are ivory NAPA leather package, 12-way adjustable front seats, retractable screens for rear windows and rear windscreen and electronically folding rearview mirrors. On the safety front, the sedan offers eight airbags, auto dimming interior, corner-turning function and external mirror.
