    Nissan Evalia in India

Nissan India has set for launch its most awaited MPV Evalia on 26th of September, 2012. It will directly compete with Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Nissan Evalia will be fitted with sliding doors at the rear which makes easy access to third row seats unlike what is seen in either Innova or Xylo which possess swivel doors. This has been viewed on Auto Expo 2012 at New Delhi, where is the visitors already seen it, It is spacious and comfortably, seating upto 7 to 9 passengers.

The Nissan Evalia is 4.4m long, 1.88m tall, 1.69m wide, offering good interior space, new interpretation of the Nissan grille which flows into the slim wrap-around headlights and at the rear it has a wide-opening top hinged tailgate

The 2012 Evalia MPV firstly launch in with 1.5-liter K9K common rail turbo diesel engine, and the petrol engine powered variant unlikely to make its presence in India soon. The diesel engine will have power and torque capacities of either 85bhp-200 Nm or 105bhp-240 Nm. When we are taking about the fuel efficiency, the Toyota Innova is offering 11.8 kmpl while the Evalia will offer 19.3 kmpl and this is one factor which will endear customers to the Evalia especially in these times of rising fuel prices.

The Nissan Evalia expected is Rs. 8 to 10 lakhs, has a strong case when it comes to competition when comparing with Innova and Xylo.
