Nissan Motor India recorded domestic sales of 1,207 units in the month of April 2011 as against 47 units in April 2010. Out of the total 1207 units, Nissan Micra, the made-in-India Global compact hatchback, leads the sales figures with 1198 units in April 2011 as against 2060 nos. sold in March 2011.
Out of the remaining, Nissan Teana, the luxury sedan (CBU) clocked 7 nos. in April 2011 as against 24 nos. in April 2010 and Nissan X-trail; the lifestyle SUV (CBU) registered sales of 2 units as against 23 nos. in April 2010.
