The German car maker Volkswagen AG, has launched the new Volkswagen Polo 2014 in India at starting price of rate Rs. 4.99 lakhs. The new Polo 2014 comes with changed look include a new front grille, redesigned front and rear bumper, new fog lamps, 15-inch alloy wheels and new headlights. Inside it gets a sportier steering wheel, dual front airbags, chrome accents and voice command.
New Volkswagen Polo 2014 Technical:
The new Volkswagen Polo is available in 1.2-litre MPI petrol and 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine pack. The petrol engine is producing 75 Ps of power @ 5,400rpm and 110Nm of torques @ 3,750rpm while the diesel engine generates 90 Ps of power @ 4,200rpm and 230Nm of maximum torque between 1,500 to 2,500rpm. The both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and electronic power steering. The Polo 1.2 GT TSI will continue with the 7-speed DSG automatic while GT TDI will continue with a manual only.
