    Honda Mobilio first Honda MPV launched in India

    Honda Cars India has launches its first multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) 7-seater Honda Mobilio at starting price priced Rs. 6.49 lakhs for Ex-showroom in Delhi. It is available in both fuel option 1.5L i-DTEC diesel and 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engines for their best power and best in class mileage. It will compete against with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo, Chevrolet Enjoy, Nissan Evalia and Tata Movus.

    The Honda Mobilio is available in 3 variants with Petrol and Diesel variants namely E, S, V and the sportier RS variant is available only in Diesel engine. It comes with a 2-years or 40,000 kms standard warranty.

    The Honda Mobilio Petrol is powered by 1.5 L i-VTEC engine that generates 119 PS of maximum power @ 6600 rpm and 145 Nm of maximum torque @ 4600 rpm with certified fuel economy of 17.3 kmpl as per ARAI test. This is equipped with 5-speed manual transmission.

    The 1.5L i-DTEC turbocharged diesel engine is based on Honda’s latest Earth Dreams Technology that delivers 100 ps of a maximum power @ 3600 rpm and 200 Nm of maximum torque @ 1,750 rpm with best in class certified fuel economy of 24.2 kmpl and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

    The Mobilio has comfortable cabin room like a sedan and as per dimension 4,386 mm long, 1,683 mm wide & 1,603 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,652 mm and best in class 189-mm ground clearance. The 2nd Row seat is a 60:40 split fold-and-tumble type and the 3rd row seat is a 50:50 spilt folding type which can be reclined for extra comfort. The raised roof lining provides generous headroom for second-row and third-row passengers while creating enough space to include a rear air-conditioner panel. The base cargo area is 223L which can be expand upto 521L in the 3rd row fold. The car has McPherson strut suspension at front and H-shaped torsion beam at rear suspension, electric power steering delivers easy steering at low speeds and stable steering.

    The Honda Mobilio also loaded with safety features including front Dual SRS airbags, anti-lock Brake system (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD) being offered as standard across all diesel variants, pretentioner seat belts with load limiters and impact mitigating headrests. The front body structure is equipped with Pedestrian injury mitigation technology designed to absorb impact energy.

    The Honda Mobilio RS loaded with a dynamic front and rear bumper, projector headlamps with LED position lamps, attractive & exclusive alloy wheel, sporty chrome grille, stylish tailgate spoiler, side sill garnish, ORVM with turn indicators and Chrome exterior door handles.

    The Honda Mobilio is available in seven choices of exterior colors: Brilliant Gold Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Majestic Blue Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Taffeta White and Crystal Black Pearl.
