Audi India is going to launch its entry level Audi A3 Sedan in India to compete against Mercedes A-Class and B-Class which will sit below the Audi A4. Company is planning to launch on August 7th and open bookings for the Audi A3 from 1st of August at Rs. 3.5 lakh booking amount. Still the prices are not announced for the Audi A3 Sedan.
Audi A3 Sedan Technical
The Audi A3 sedan will be available in both petrol and diesel engines option. The Diesel powered 35 TDI is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-pot, turbo engine that deliver a maximum power of 143 hp between 3500-4000 rpm and 340 Nm of torque between 1750-3000 rpm, mated to a 6-speed DSG transmission. While the petrol A3 will be 1.8-litre, TFSI 4-pot engine will generate 177 hp of power and 250 Nm of maximum torque and mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission.
