German luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes Benz has launched the E63 AMG premium sedan in the Indian auto market at a price of Rs. 1.29 crore (Ex-showrom Delhi). With the launch of the new car model, the luxury automaker aims to enhance its product offerings in India.
The E63 AMG is equipped with a 5.5-litre V8 engine and offers a displacement of 5,461 cc.
According to Mr. Eberhard Kern Managing Director and CEO Mercedes-Benz India, the launch of the E63 car model reiterates the carmaker’s promise to bring fascinating cars to India. He further stated that the new luxury car model will enable the carmaker to improve its market share in the luxury segment in India.
Mercedes-Benz expects the new generation car models such as the A-Class, the B-Class, the CLA and the GLA car models to increase its total volume by 40 percent. The company currently plans to target smaller cities in India to boost its sales.
