The multi-brand used car company Mahindra First Choice Wheels has announced that it’s outlet figure will touch the 500 mark by the year 2016. The company currently has 368 outlets across 210 cities in India.
The company has further strengthened its presence in the auto industry with the opening of its first authorized dealership in Tirupur. The state of Tamil Nadu already has 22 outlets of Mahindra First Choice and the new showroom will enable it to further increase its presence in the state.
The auto company plans to tap the potential market size of over 400 used cars every month in the region.
The recent slowdown in the India automobile sector has given rise to opportunities in the second hand car market with carmakers venturing into organized used car selling space.
