Mahindra & Mahindra has taken initiated its electric vehicle portfolio, first we saw the e-Verito then e-Supro van, and now company launched the Mahindra e2o Plus 4-door version of its existing 2-door e2o hatchback model at a starting price of Rs. 5.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for P4 variant. The Mahindra e2oPlus will be available in four variants – P2 (not displayed), P4, P6, P8 at a price range between Rs. 5.46 lakh to Rs. 8.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Mahindra e2o Plus 4-door technical details:
The Mahindra e2o Plus powered by a 210 Amp Lithium-ion battery with two types of powered engine, the first one develops 25.8 PS of power at 3500rpm and 70 Nm of torque at 1000rpm for the P2, P4 and P6 variants while the top-end variant V8 is powered by 40.8 PS of power at 3500rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 2000rpm. It is mated with a direct drive automatic transmission and it takes upto 9 hours to charge fully or can also be charged in 90 minutes by quick charging. On a full charge, the Mahindra e2o Plus can travel for upto 140 kms and can achieve a top speed of 85 kmph.
The car has 170mm of ground clearance and 2258 mm of wheelbase, it measure 3590 mm in length, 1575 mm in width, 1585 mm in height and has a boot space 135-litres.

Company increased the cabin space of the car, which has gone by over 150 litres and also very spacious and comfortable interior inside. The car now comes with added two doors at back and it gets a completely new grille. The refreshed new headlamps now looking modern, and also the front windshield gets two wipers, having an opposite sweep action. The rear door handles are placed at the C-pillars, and vertically stacked tail lamps, separated by a matte black plastic garnish.
The car is loaded with advanced features such as touch-screen infotainment system, digital speedometer and push button start, reverse camera, including remote diagnostics through telematics, connectivity through smart phone app, new and advanced infotainment system, regenerative braking, Hill Hold control for easy driving in hilly terrains, unique feature REVive® for reserve charge and automated messages (allows door unlocking of a reserve amount of battery charge, in-case of emergencies).
