Leasing a Mercedes-Benz a better option for frequent buyers

Mercedes-Benz Financial which is the financing arm of Mercedes-Benz is now offering the Mercedes-Benz cars on lease. The company states that leasing the cars instead of buying them is a better option for Mercedes car owners who tend to buy new cars every 3-4 years.

The lease option offered by Mercedes-Benz ranges from 36 to 48 months which comes with a fixed distance limit of 15,000 kilometers beyond which additional charge is levied. The company calculates the future value the new leased car will have at the end of the lease and a rent amount is calculated on the basis of that value which is paid monthly. The rental amount includes the various costs such as the maintenance, registration and insurance of the vehicle.

Moreover, the company also offers the option of leasing a new car without any significant down payment. The amount not paid at the time of leasing would then be added to the monthly rental amount.

Another advantage of the leasing is that at the end of the lease tenure, the car can be returned without the hassle of selling the older car and a new car can be leased. Leasing a car is also preferred due to its taxation benefits for businessmen.
