Jaguar Land Rover, the British luxury carmaker owned by Indian carmaker Tata Motors has launched the new Range Rover Sport SUV in the Indian car market at an entry level price of Rs 1.1 crore. The top end variant of the new car model is priced at Rs 1.66 crore.
The new luxury sports utility vehicle is equipped with a 3-liter diesel engine and alternately a 5-liter petrol engine. While the diesel version of the car model is priced at Rs 1.1 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai), the petrol version has a price tag of Rs 1.66 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The new Range Rover Sport is claimed by the luxury automobile manufacturer to be the first car model in its segment to sport lightweight aluminium construction making its platform lighter by 39 percent in comparison to the existing model.
