Hyundai Motor India, the largest car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer in India has commenced the dispatch of the Eon 1.0 liter to its dealerships in India. The entry level variant of the new Eon 1.0 small car has been priced at Rs 3,83,130 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The bookings for the 1.0 liter variant of the Eon small car had already been opened by the Korean automaker in India. The new variant will be competing with likes of Maruti Alto 800.
Equipped with the advanced 1.0 litre three-cylinder engine, the new car model offers a fuel efficiency of 20.3 kilometer per liter as claimed by the carmaker.
With the launch of the new variant of Eon, Hyundai India expects to boost sales and capture a larger share of the entry level car segment in India.
According to Mr. B S Seo Managing Director and CEO Hyundai Motor India, the new Eon 1.0 car model in an extension of its modern-premium brand philosophy and is aimed at strengthening its position in the domestic market.
