German automobile manufacturer’s Indian subsidiary Audi India has introduced a new sedan model, the Audi S4 in the Indian car market starting at the price of Rs 45,31,000 (Ex-showroom Maharashtra). The new premium sedan is equipped with a V6 3.0 TFSI engine and is capable of reaching a speed of 100 km/h in 5 seconds.
The new car will be available at the 19 dealerships of the company in India and joins the Audi A4, the Audi A6 and the Audi A7 Sportback cars models by the company.
According to Mr. Michael Perschke Head Audi India, the company is looking at expanding sales volumes in India also increase the number of dealerships from 19 to 25 by the end of the year 2012. The company has witnessed a growth of 10 percent in sales in the month of May 2012.
