    Mahindra to recall 23,000 units of the Scorpio Ex Variant

    Indian sports utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that it will be recalling 23,000 units of the Scorpio Ex variant of the Scorpio SUV in the Indian car market in order to rectify faulty pressure regulating valves.

    The carmaker stated that preventive inspection of the parts of the Ex variant of the Scorpio manufactured from May 2012 to November 2013. The replacement in necessary will be carried out immediately by the automaker without any charge. The customers will be contacted by the automaker individually.

    About 6,09,000 vehicles have been recalled in India since the initiation of the voluntary recall policy in the month of July 2012.
