Toyota India is planning to assemble the new Camry 2012 in India with a view to reduce cost of the car and to price it more competitively. The reduction in the price of the sedan is aimed at boosting the sales and come up with an aggressive competition against is rival Honda Accord. According to the company reports, the new sedan has been redesigned and revamped by reworking more than 90 percent of the components and parts except the basic platform which remains the same.

The new luxury sedan was unveiled by Toyota at the Delhi Auto Expo 2012 with revamped exterior design and upgraded interiors. Moreover, the sedan has been equipped with superior interiors that feature convenience and automation. For instance, the seats can be adjusted electronically for a suitable driving position.
