The new Innova Crysta is now the only vehicle in its segment that will offer a petrol engine. The brand new petrol engine that Toyota has developed is a 2.7-litre, 4-cylinder engine that develops 163bhp and 245Nm of torque. The petrol Innova Crysta will be offered with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Toyota also claims that the car will offer a fuel economy figure of 10kmpl in the automatic variant and 9.89kmpl in the manual variant for the new petrol engine.
The new petrol engine will be available on the Innova Crysta as a Gx trim with 7 or 8 seating options), and a Vx (7 seating option) for the manual version. The automatic will be available as a Gx (7 or 8 seater) and a Zx trim with only 7-seater option. The petrol Innova Crysta will also be offered in a brand new set of colours. Bookings and deliveries of the Crysta have begun as of now and the car is available at all Toyota dealership across the country with a price range of Rs. 13.72 lakh to Rs. 19.62 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
