Skoda India has launched the third generation of its flagship model, the Skoda Superb at Rs 22.68 lakhs (Ex-showroom Mumbai). The brand’s new flagship offers Skoda’s core virtues of spaciousness and practicality that have once again set the next benchmark. Generous dimensions, innovative safety systems, comfort, powerful engines and ‘Simply Clever’ details, typical of Skoda, move the brand’s flagship towards the next segment. The Superb will be powered by the new 1.8 TSI 180bhp and the 2.0 TDI 177bhp engines.
The third-generation Superb is more powerful than ever and yet it is up to 30 percent more economical thanks to new and efficient engines and improved aerodynamics. Skoda will reintroduce the exclusive Laurin & Klement (L&K) moniker, which will be placed at the top of the model range. The new Superb is also the best and cleverest Skoda of all time and will be available in 4 colours.
