India Yamaha Motor has introduced Yamaha FZ25 at price tag of Rs. 1,19,500 ex-showroom, Delhi. The new FZ25 is a highly competitive 250cc performance motorcycle segment. The company is having high hopes from this new motorcycle and would be embarking on its new phase in the Indian market. This new motorcycle is the higher version of Yamaha FZ brand and company says it is the perfect bike for customers seeking to step up from the regular FZ series. The Yamaha targets is targeted towards youngsters, in the age group of between 20 to 30 years, and claimed to have light and agile handling on city while the Blue Core engine is mooted to return high fuel economy.
Yamaha FZ25 technical details:
The Yamaha FZ25 is powered by 249 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder, high-torque fuel-injected engine on a lightweight frame (148 Kgs) which can produces 20.9 PS of maximum power @ 8,000 rpm and 20 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. The motor is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission with faster gear shifting. The company claimed fuel efficiency of 43kmpl and compliant to BS IV emission standards.
The FZ25 bike measures 2015 mm in length, 770 mm in width, 1075 mm in overall height and features 1,360 mm wheelbase. The ground clearance is at 160 mm while seat height stands at 795 mm. It has telescopic front fork and mono shock rear suspension.
