Hyundai Motors has recently displayed the facelift version of Hyundai Grand i10 globally and now it has all set to launch new 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 in India at a starting priced Rs. 4.58 lakh for the petrol base variant to Rs. 6.40 lakh for the top petrol variant. While the diesel variant starts at Rs. 5.68 lakh and goes up to Rs. 7.33 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi). The base variant ERA is priced Rs. 32,000 less than the previous generation variant, while some variants get a price hike.
The car will be available from February (next month) 2017 and will compete with the recently launched Maruti Ignis, Maruti Swift and Ford Figo models.
The new Grand i10 2017 will directly compete against the newly launched Maruti Suzuki Ignis. Interestingly, the base variant of the Grand i10 facelift is priced INR 30,000 less than the previous generation model, while the top-end variant is priced higher by the similar amount as compared the previous model.
2017 Hyundai Grand i10 technical details:
The Hyundai Grand i10 2017gets a new 1.2-litre diesel engine in place of the older 1.1-litre U2 diesel unit that can produce 75 PS of maximum power and 171 Nm of torque. While the petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which is capable to generate 85 PS of maximum power and 115 Nm of torque. The both engines will be available with 5-speed manual transmission while the petrol engine gets an automatic transmission with Magna and Sportz (O) variants. The updated engines of Grand i10 2017 have BS IV complaint and it will deliver improved fuel economy too.

The new Hyundai Grand i10 gets new design along with new interiors and comfort features like – new front fascia with wider grille and round LED DRLs, redesign bumper and revised fog lamp clusters, new diamond cut alloy wheels, new bumper design with black plastic cladding, round fog lights. Insides the cabin, car gets a color-coded dual tone interior scheme and all-new seat fabric.
The car is now available with a new advanced infotainment system which can support Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink, 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system also a GPS assisted navigation system for better driving. It is also loaded with the great features like rear parking sensors, reverse parking camera, automatic climate control system, auto dimming internal rear view mirror, electrically adjustable and foldable exterior mirror and rear AC vents.
In-terms of safety features it is available with dual front airbags, Anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), engine immobilizer, seatbelt pre-tensioners with force limiters and speed-sensing door locks etc..
