Volvo Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of the Swedish automobile manufacturer has inaugurated a new showroom in Chennai featuring the company’s ‘designed around you’ initiative. The initiative is Volvo’s global brand strategy announced in 2011 and refers to the designing of the car according to the needs and comfort of the buyer.
The new showroom has been opened by Artemis Cars in an area of 3500 square feet and is expected by the company to boost sales and offerings of Volvo to its customers in the region. According to Mr. Thomas Ernberg Managing Director Volvo Auto India, the company has received favorable customer response in India and it endeavors to serve its customers better with the opening of the new showroom.
The company’s car portfolio in India currently has the XC90, the XC60, the S80 and the S60 in different variants fuel versions.
