Audi India, the Indian holding of the German luxury carmaker inaugurated a new showroom in New Delhi in the West Delhi region on April 20, 2012. The showroom is the company’s third in the National Capital Region (NCR). The opening also marks the unveiling of the Audi TT Coupe which is set for a market launch in June 2012.
According to Mr. Michael Perschke Head Audi India, the new showroom is expected to expand the company’s presence in the NCR and capitalize on the increase in demand for luxury cars in the region. He added that the company currently holds a prominent position in the Indian luxury car segment expects to maintain that position with the launch of the Audi TT Coupe and expansion of its dealership network.
The company is planning to increase its presence in the Indian market by expanding the number of dealership from 17 to 25 by the end of the year 2012.
