Volkswagen India has launches limited edition Vento Konekt variant with Vento which is available in Comfortline and Highline variants only. The petrol variants will be available between Rs. 7.84 to Rs. 9.8 lakh while the diesel variants are available between Rs. 8.99 lakh to Rs. 9.8 lakh ex-showroom in Mumbai.
The Vento Konekt comes with latest entertainment and advanced connectivity features included Blaupunkt infotainment system with GPS navigation and Igo-Navtech maps, hands-free, 3G internet connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, 7-inch TFT touchscreen colour display, USB connectivity and iPod/ iPhone compatibility.
The rear-seats are integrated with entertainment features like Android-powered Bluetooth, 8-inch Blaupunkt tablet with 3G-compatibility, Wi-Fi capability and twin-SIM functionality, rear seat 16-channels live television, Internet radio, weather updates and live stock market feeds on the tablet. It also featured with social apps like Facebook and Twitter, 3G video calling facility, Google Maps for navigation and an app to get the nearest Volkswagen dealership showroom/ service centre. Leatherette seat covers, Konekt badging on the boot and the scuff plates.
Mechanically the Vento Konekt is remains unchanged powered by 1598cc, 4-cyclinder, In-line DOHC diesel engine producing 105 PS of power @ 4400 rpm and 250 Nm of torque @ 1,500-2500rpm mated to a 5-Speed manual transmission.
But remember the facelift 2014 Volkswagen Vento is going to launch next month.
