Tata Motors has started the bookings for its upcoming subcompact sedan Tata Tigor car, across all dealerships in India at a token amount of Rs. 5000. The interested buyers can book Tigor to go through dealers or online to click bookonline.tatamotors.com. The Tata Tigor has been scheduled on sale from March 29, when company will announce its much awaited prices.
Tata Tigor technical details:
The car is expected to be the most affordable subcompact sedan in India, which is based on the existing Tata Tiago hatchback. The company share shares its Tiago engine with the Tigor, the petrol engine is powered by 1.2-litre Revotron technology while the diesel version of Tigor will be available with 1.05-litre Revotorq 3-cylinder turbo engines technology. The petrol engine can generate 85 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque while the diesel engine can produce 70 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque. Both units are available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The subcompact sedan Tigor has a wheelbase of 2450 mm and it measures 3992 mm in length, 1677 mm in width and 1537 mm in height and the ground clearance is 170 mm. The boot offers a class-leading luggage capacity of 419 litres.

The model is based on its hatchback Tata Tiago, so we are mostly familiar with its features and style. Additionally it gets slightly tweaked front and lower grille with the addition of chrome, reworked headlamps with black shrouds and a projector low-beam headlight and also 50mm longer wheelbase compare than the Tiago.
Some of the features like 15 inch dual tone alloy wheels, wide LED tail lamps and a new Copper Brown color option. Inside the cabin it gets dual-tone colour scheme, premium fabric seats, touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink, 12V charging socket, USB and AUX inputs and Tata’s ConnectNext infotainment system with video playback from a 5-inch screen with 8-speakers, steering-mounted audio controls, multi-info display, City and Eco Driving modes, automatic climate control and screen also displays HVAC controls.
Tata Tigor Price:
The prices are not announced but we are expecting the price will start from Rs 4.50 lakh and goes upto Rs 7.00 lakh.
