Japanese car maker Toyota launched the next generation sedan Corolla: ALTIS in India. Altis, available in 1.8 litre petrol engine in three versions would be priced between Rs 10.83 lakhs and Rs 12.86 lakhs (ex showroom Delhi).
The company, which sold about 50,000 units last year, wants to sell 63,000 units this year and capture 10 per cent market share from the present 3 per cent of the Indian passenger car market by 2015.
Toyota has projected sales total of 2,000 Altis a month.
