Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, launched India’s first lifestyle pick-up – the Xenon XT, this week. The Xenon is a four door, five seater pick-up and is powered by a 2.2 litre common rail diesel engine. Available in white, black, silver and Mineral red colours, the car comes with a range of features like power steering, power windows and central locking and can be accessorised depending on customers’ individual tastes. P. M. Telang, President – Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said that the Xenon is targeted at a niche clientele and cannot be fit into any segment yet. It is priced at Rs. 7.62 lakh for the 4×2 version and Rs. 8.58 lakh for the 4×4 version (ex-showroom Delhi).
