    Tata Communications partner with F1

In the wake of their 10th anniversary Tata Communications has just signed a multiyear technology service and marketing agreement with Formula One Management. The agreement will cover two core areas. Firstly, Tata Communications will be the backbone for Formula One Management’s global connectivity for all 20 race locations and worldwide offices through its global network, as well as host and provide content delivery for Formula1.com. In addition, some of Formula One Management’s critical IT infrastructure will be collocated and hosted in Tata Communications’ world-class data centers. Secondly, the innovative deal positions Tata Communications as a Technology Supplier of Formula 1 and explicitly the Official Connectivity Provider of Formula 1 and official Web Hosting and content delivery network provider of Formula1.com. It seems that Indian companies are now taking a strong liking to the most famous motorsport event in the world and we will probably see more alliances like this in the future.
