Skoda Auto India on September 23, 2011, introduced four variants of the Skoda Fabia hatchback – the Active and the Ambition in petrol and diesel and the company offered packaged versions of Active Plus and Ambition Plus.
While the petrol variants are priced as follows: Active (1.2 litre) Rs 4,39,000, Active Plus (1.2 litre) Rs. 4,59,000, Ambition (1.2 litre) Rs 4,85,000, and the Ambition Plus (1.2 litre) Rs 4,99,000. The diesel models are priced as following: Active (1.2 litre) Rs 5,46,000, Active Plus (1.2 litre) Rs 5,66,000, Ambition (1.2 litre) Rs 5,94,000, and the Ambition Plus (1.2 litre) Rs 6,08,000.
Skoda India at the release of the new variants stated that they are based on market and customer feedback and are primarily aimed at ensuring a quality experience for the users. The Active Plus and the Ambition Plus give the customers the option to select ‘factory fitted packages,’ which boast of convenient features.
