Renault India has silently launched a special variant “Renault Kwid Live for More Edition” of its hatchback model, which is looking more sportier and stylish. The new special edition variant is basically a regular Kwid with added features like electric red grille, bold red and grey accents on the body, red accents on the wheel caps, dual-tone roof rails and contrasting rear spoiler. Inside the cabin it gets a stylish dual-tone steering wheel cover, first-in-class touchscreen MediaNAV and red accents on the door panels. The other features on the Renault Kwid remain the same

Mechanically the car remains the same engine, powered by the Kwid 0.8-litre and Kwid 1.0-litre. The 0.8-litre SCe naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine is producing 54 PS of power @ 5,678 rpm and 72 Nm of torque @ 4,400 rpm while the 1.0-litre SCe naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine can develops 68 PS of power @ 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque @ 4,250 rpm. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual.
The car has capacity to deliver a fuel efficiency of Renault KWID 0.8-litre SCe 25.17 Km/L while the 1.0-litre SCe is 23.01 Km/L, and 1.0-litre AMT is 24.04 Km/L as per ARAI figures (Test Result of Rule 115 of CMVR).
