There is more exciting news for the mini SUV segment in India, as French manufacturer Renault is all set to launch the Duster in the country and join the small SUV bandwagon on July 4th. While the car that is going to be launched is slightly different than the one showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo, mostly some body features have been altered, but it still features the powerful 1.6 litre petrol engine and the 1.5 litre diesel engine currently found in the Fluence. The price for the Renault Duster starts at approximately 7 lakhs and will go up to 11 lakhs for the 108bhp diesel variant – although there will also be an 84bhp diesel variant. So come July and Indian consumers will now have a choice of many small and reliable SUVs to choose from. The Duster will be available from any of the 45 current dealers located across the country.
