Mahindra & Mahindra has launched a new special variant XUV500 Xclusive Edition in India at priced Rs. 14.49 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi. This variant is based on its existing W8 variant but in front-wheel drive not the all-wheel drive variant. Company will make only 700 units of this limited Edition XUV500 which will available with extra features of W8 standard variant.

This XUV500 W8 Xclusive Editon is loaded with features such as an electric sunroof and 6-way electrically-adjustable driver seat, hydraulic assisted bonnet, internet connectivity for the infotainment system, voice messaging system, reversing camera, illuminated scruff plates, stylish grey alloys wheels and it also gets anti-pinch driver window with express up and down.
Mechanically there is no change, it has the same 2179cc mHawk diesel engine with VGT technology that produces 140 PS of power and 330Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
