The new Porsche Cayenne launched in in India with both petrol and diesel engine option. The new Cayenne is available with four variants namely Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S, Cayenne S diesel and Cayenne Turbo. The price starts from Rs. 1.04 crore for the base diesel variants while and Rs. 1.78 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top Turbo variants.
New Porsche Cayenne features highlights:
The new Cayenne gets some cosmetic changes like the grille part which is now larger with revised bumpers consisting of more vertical blades in the air dam, mature bonnet providing aggressive stance on the roads and refreshed front wings.
The Diesel and S Diesel version gets bi-xenon headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lights while the Turbo variant has comes with LED headlights and Porche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). The new set of angular tail-lights, revised exhaust outlets and bumpers, and the new tailgate is better than the previous models, which are making it more stylish and dynamic.
Inside changes, the all new multi-functional steering wheel inspired from 918 Spyder with shift paddles that comes as standard feature and for the first time the ventilation option available in this SUV. Additionally the four-zone climate control, Porsche entry-and-drive (keyless) panoramic sunroof and Porsche Air Suspension System (PASM).

The petrol Cayenne S has replaced its old 4.8 liter V8 and now available with 3.6 liter bi-turbo V6 engine that generates 414bhp of power and 550Nm of maximum torque mated to a standard 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 5.5 seconds with top speed of 259kmph. Cayenne Turbo carrying the same 4.8-liter V8 engine that produces 513bhp of power and 750 Nm max torque, it can accelerate 0-100kmph in 4.5 seconds and top speed of 279 kmph.
New Porsche Cayenne diesel
The base diesel variant is powered by 3.0-liter V6 engine that generates 245bhp of power and 550Nm of max torque. The Diesel S model is powered by 4.2 liter V8 engine that generates 385bhp of power and 850Nm of max torque. The Cayenne diesel variant can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 7.6 seconds, gaining the top speed of 218kmph while the Diesel S reaches 100kmph in just 5.4 seconds reaching electronically limited top speed of 252kmph.
