The new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe has been launched at the 2015 India Bridal Fashion Week, New Delhi, at a price of Rs. 1.149 crore (ex-showroom Delhi) for the 640d Eminence variant and Rs. 1.214 crore for the BMW 640d Design Pure Experience variant.
This new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe will continue to be as completely-built units (CBU) in India available at all BMW dealerships.
New BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe technical:
There are no mechanically changes, the car is carrying the same 3.0 litre in-line 6-cylinder diesel engine that generates 313 PS of power at 4,400 rpm and 630 Nm of torque between 1,500–2,500rpm. Also the engine is mated to the same 8-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission with xDrive All-Wheel Drive system as standard features. The car has capacity to go 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds and top speed of 250 km/h.

In-terms of features updates the car comes with minor cosmetic and feature changes like newly designed kidney grille and improved front and rear aprons claim, ambient lighting, sports leather steering wheel, 19-inch light alloy wheels, larger tailpipe embellishers with six-cylinder engines sporty look and finally with full-LED headlights. Also an optional Adaptive LED Headlights with BMW Selective Beam anti-dazzle High Beam Assistant. Inside the cabin it gets Fineline Brown and Fine-wood trim Poplar Grain Grey and quality of the surfaces have been increased also the most important BMW’s Connected Drive navigation package is fitted as standard feature.

It is available in the following colours – Alpine White (non-metallic) and following Metallic colours – Black Sapphire, Cashmere Silver, Glacier Silver, Space Grey, Jatoba, Melbourne Red, Mediterranean Blue and Mineral White. The standard Dakota and exclusive Nappa leather upholstery is available in Black and Ivory White colour combinations.
