The 5-Seater of Maruti Celerio diesel has been launched officially in India at a price range from Rs. 4.65 lakh to Rs. 5.71 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This Diesel version of Celerio is available in four variants – LDi, VDi, ZDi and the top variant ZDi (O). The top-end version of Celerio ZDi (O) diesel gets features like dual front airbags, ABS, power windows, audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted controls and multi info display etc.

This Diesel engine is powered by 2-cylinder 793 cc, DDiS 125 unit that generates 47 bhp of power @ 3,500 rpm and 125 Nm of torque @ 2,000 rpm, paired with 5-speed manual transmission. The company claimed to deliver 27.62 km/l of ARAI certified mileage.
