BMW owned Mini brand has opened its first showroom in India in Mumbai displaying its entire range of car models. The car models of the premium car brand will be brought to India through the completely built (CBU) route starting in May 2012 with 20 deliveries a month.
The car model range of Mini includes the Cooper, the Cooper S, the Cooper Convertible, the Cooper S Countryman and the Cooper S Countryman High. The company had showcased these car models at the Delhi Auto Expo in January 2012.
India is the 100th country for the Mini brand which also has plans to open two showrooms in Delhi. By the end of 2012, the company targets 5 dealerships in India.
