As part of the anniversary marking “45 years of AMG”, Mercedes-AMG is providing an exclusive glimpse of the highlights of the A 45 AMG. With the powerful new top-of-the-range A-Class model, the performance brand from Mercedes-Benz is marking the start of a new era. For the first time in the 45-year history of the company, AMG will offer an exciting high-performance vehicle in the compact class. The A 45 AMG is representative of the ambitious future strategy entitled “AMG Performance 50”, leading up to the 50th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. And while this is good news, there is even better news in store for you. Apart from the A 45 AMG, under the “AMG Performance 50” strategy, the brand will roll out several new models. Mercedes-Benz declined to provide further details, but they did suggest there will be new variants based on the next-generation S-Class and other classes. This is great news for AMG enthusiasts. So within the next 5 years we will be seeing a heap of additions of performance cars from the AMG division in all shapes and sizes. Let’s just hope we see some of them in India.
