    Maruti Suzuki grows 15% in May

    India’s biggest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki saw a rise of 15% in domestic sales to 64,143 units as compared to 55,952 units in May 2007.
    Maruti’s entry level small car 800 recorded 25 percent growth resulting in 6,830 units.
    Alto, WagonR, Zen Estilo and Swift saw a combined growth of 14 percent at 44,539 units. The sedans Swift DZire and SX4 grew by 18 percent at 5,946 units.
