The Maruti Alto K10 has added 4 lakh units in under four year since its launch then Maruti introduced a revamped version Alto 800 about 12 years after its launch, which sold 1,00,000 units in just 4 months of launch. Maruti launched the Alto 800 marketing its 15 percent higher fuel efficiency and made the CNG variant available from the launch date. The Maruti Suzuki has exported 2.85 lakh units of the Alto.
