Maruti Alto to now be available with CNG option

    carsBy carsJuly 18, 2009Updated:July 11, 20261 Comment1 Min Read

Maruti AltoMaruti Suzuki has launched a CNG kit for its most popular car, the Maruti Alto, in the National Capital Region. Priced at Rs 43,545, the kit will be available at Maruti dealerships across Delhi and the NCR region, starting from June 17, 2009. Maruti Suzuki’s Chief General Manager, Shashank Srivastava, said that the Alto is already ‘the most preferred car in India for its driveability, superior mileage, low ownership cost and overall reliability’, and adding a CNG kit to it will make it even more attractive for customers. The company had announced a few weeks back that it had stopped working on all LPG variants, as it planned to bring out CNG variants across its models in the country, starting with the Alto.
