Indian SUV manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has sold more than 1,00,000 units of its Xylo MPV. The company has also launched a new revamped Xylo in the year 2012 featuring about 50 changes. The multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) is available in five variants including the option of three different engines.
The Xylo MPV currently accounts for almost 25 percent share in the utility vehicles segment in the Indian auto market. Mr. Pravin Shah Chief Executive Automotive Division Mahindra & Mahindra congratulated the company and all associated with the MPV on the achievement. He also stated that the milestone is a reflection of the high customer satisfaction for the car product.
Since 2009 when it was launched in the Indian market, the MPV has won numerous awards and recognition from various auto magazines and channels including the CNBC Overdrive, NDTV Profit and BBC Top Gear.
