Mahindra Renault, the joint venture India’s Mahindra & Mahindra and French carmaker Renault, plans to export its sedan Logan from this year.
Speaking to the press Mr. Nalin Mehta, COO – Mahindra Renault said that there are opportunities for the whole range of Logan cars to be exported to the right hand drive markets such as the neighboring countries and South Africa by this year.
He said the company would export the vehicle to countries, where M&M and Renault already have strong presence, and would utilise the existing dealership networks of the two manufacturers there. The cars could be sold under the Renault badge in markets where the French firm has a strong presence or it could be Mahindra- Renault in the new markets.
