The Indian automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has announced the launch of the XUV500 Sportz sports utility vehicle for the Indian car market at a price of Rs 13,68,000 (Ex-showroom Mumbai).
The new Sportz edition of the XUV500 car model features Sportz decals and alloy wheels with signature red inserts. Also included is a rear view camera, sporty leather fabric seats, fog lamps, door handles with red accents, red roof rails and Sportz badging.
The limited edition of the SUV car model doesn’t feature any changes in the mechanics or engine and is equipped with the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Commenting about the launch, Mr. Vivek Nayer Chief Marketing Officer Automotive Division Mahindra & Mahindra stated that the new limited edition car model is aimed at enhancing the XUV500’s appeal among customers and create a new exclusivity benchmark.
