The Jaguar & Land Rover owned by Tata Motors has launched the locally assembled 2015 Range Rover Evoque at starting price Rs. 48.73 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The vehicle assembling will start at its Pune manufacturing facility and deliveries will commence from early April 2015 priced between Rs. 48.73 lakh and Rs. 56.21 lakh.
Now the Range Rover Evoque has become the fourth model range vehicle which assembled at its Pune factory. Other three are Freelander 2, Jaguar XF and XJ models. The company also announced that the Pune plant production has tripled since its inauguration in 2011.
Mr. Rohit Suri, President of Jaguar Land Rover India said “this will enable us to access a wider audience which consists of discerning and premium Indian customers who have always loved the brand, aspired to own this SUV and be seen in it. Our investment in the Pune facility demonstrates our continued long-term commitment to the Indian market”
2015 Range Rover Evoque engine technology:
The three-door Range Rover Evoque is powered by 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine technology that produces 237bhp of power available only in the top-end Dynamic variant while the five-door is available with three variants – Pure, Prestige and Dynamic which is powered by 2.2-litre SD4 common-rail turbo-diesel engine that generates 190 bhp of power at 3,500 rpm and 420 Nm of maximum torque at 2,000 rpm. The both engines mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The locally assembled Range Rover Evoque comes with the new key features like navigation system, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera as standard features on all variants.
