Lamborghini has opened its second dealership in at Mumbai, the first being in Delhi, with the expectation of due market potential for its car models in India. The Italian super sports car-maker witnessed strong potential in the Indian auto market and hence decided to open its second showroom in Mumbai after Delhi.
The new showroom will showcase the entire range of Lamborghini car models. Meanwhile, the company is also considering new locations in Southern India for expanding its dealership network in the region. Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore have been identified as viable locations for new showrooms. However, the decisions will be finalized after duly studying the demand for its cars in the regions.
Lamborghini President and Chief Executive Mr. Stephan Winkelmann stated that the company targets to sell about 50 cars in India by the year 2015.
