India Yamaha Motor recently launched an updated version of their 110cc Saluto. The new bike is called the Saluto RX, and it’s an affordable and smart street bike specially designed for Indian roads. The Saluto RX has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 46,400 ex-showroom Delhi and it has also been claimed that bike has a great fuel economy of 82kmpl. This next-generation 110cc class street model is a stylish commuter motorcycle and it is targeted towards young men. The bike has a good balance of performance, low fuel consumption and excellent affordability.
The Saluto RX mounts a newly developed air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 110cc, 2-valve single-cylinder engine. Based on the Blue Core Engine Development concept, it is powered by a new engine with a more compact combustion chamber than previous 110cc models released by the company. Combined with Yamaha’s performance DNA, innovation and design, the Saluto RX has maximum torque of 8.5Nm.
