Hyundai Motors, India’s largest car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer in India has launched the Grand i10 hatchback in the Indian car market with an entry level price of Rs 4,29,900 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
The top model variant of the Grand i10, a diesel version is priced at Rs 6,41,600 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Grand i10 hatchback is equipped with a new second generation 1.1 liter U2 CRDi diesel engine and a 1.2 liter Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine alternately. While the diesel engine offers a mileage of 24 kilometers per liter, the petrol engine provides a mileage of 18.9 kilometers per liter. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission system. Also, automatic transmission is offered along with the petrol engine model.
The automaker offers a variety of new features along with the new Grand i10 car model. These include hi-tech and smart features such as push button ‘Start/Stop’ for keyless entry/exit, auto folding side mirrors, a cooled glove box to keep beverages and food items cool as well audio and Bluetooth functions on the steering wheel. Rear AC vents in the car model are unique to its segment and makes it the first car to introduce it.
