Export volumes of the recently launched compact car Hyundai i10 crossed the aggregate 100,000 mark. Hyundai is India’s largest car exporter.
Mr. H. S. Lheem, managing director, Hyundai Motor India said, “Even in the domestic market the demand is very strong with sales of over 65,000 units and to meet the expectations of both the markets we are trying very hard to produce as many i10s as possible.”
Hyundai currently makes small cars Santro and i10, hatchback Getz, sedans Accent, Verna and Sonata Emberra and SUV Tuscon in India.
