Honda Cars India sales increase by 156% in July 2013, to sold 11,223 cars against 4,386 units during July 2012. The Amaze sedan sold 6,515 units in the month, its highest so far and exceeding May 2013 sales of 6,036 units.
In the fiscal year April to July 2013 Company has sold 40,350 units and recorded growth of 65% against 24,462 units during the year-earlier period.

“The Honda Amaze has clocked its highest monthly sales of 6,515 units in the month and is maintaining a very good growth momentum having sold more than 24,000 units since its launch. As a strategic decision, Honda plans to start a third shift from November 2013 to reduce the vehicle’s waiting period of the Amaze” said Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, senior VP, marketing & sales. The vehicle has a 4-5 month waiting period.
