The Honda Brio was launched in India in September 2011, at a starting price tag of Rs. 3,95,000 and Honda India exports some essential components of the Brio to the Indonesian and Malaysian market. Mr. Seki Inaba, HSCI Director (Marketing) at the launch of the new Honda Brio hatchback stated the company is working towards increasing the localization of the Honda Brio in India.
